YOUR THE ROUNDABOUT In the life we live here on earth we can develop our bodies, and increase our knowledge, but if we're not led by and walking in the Spirit what good does it do to have a strong body and increased knowledge? It's no good at all. That said, what does it mean to walk in the Spirit versus walking in the flesh? What is a Spirit led life, and what is a flesh led life? What does it mean to surrender to God so a Spirit led life can develop? Is walking in the Spirit an automatic thing, or do we work at it? Does the flesh life die off for good when we come to Christ, or does it hang around? Are there demonic strongholds we all struggle with and work to overcome, or are they found only in the "demonically possessed"? How do we identify these demonic, fleshly strongholds so the Lord can become the stronghold of our life?
Join the Why is it there are some struggles of the flesh that are more difficult to overcome than others? What identifies a fleshly, carnal life versus a Spirit led life? What is positive flesh and negative flesh? Are there such things? Does one act of surrender lead to a Spirit led life? Is it connected to grace, and if so how does grace lead us to surrender? What does it mean to live a victorious life, and what is it we are seeking to gain victory over? Are surrender and victory contradictory terms in the life of a Christian, or do they go hand in hand?
That's a mouthful of questions. Do you know the answers? As a help along the way to the ongoing transformation of our lives, Y NOT? offers the 'Roundabout. The goal, of course, of the Roundabout, is to turn us 180 degrees from a fleshly, carnal pattern of living to a pattern of life that is led by grace and walking in the spirit. This requires a willingness on our part to be transparent with one another, open our lives up before one another, corporately and individually identify our spiritual baggage, i.e., strongholds, fleshly patterns that hinder our life in Christ, and our ability to walk in the spirit. We then set out to 'crucify' the flesh so the Spirit can come to life and have preeminence in our lives. As we do we enter into the freedom Christ came to set us free for. Freedom from a flesh driven life so we can walk more freely in Christ by the Spirit. So we can experience the joy, grace, love, presence, nature, and character of Christ flowing in and out of our lives. The 'Roundabout is designed to help bring us to the freedom Christ came to set us free for so we can walk in the Spirit - not the flesh. You can learn more about the 'Roundabout from your ministry sponsor, in home gatherings, or ministry opportunity meetings.
