The ups and downs experienced in the journey can help mold the character of Christ into our lives.
As you reach for your dreams stay clear of discouragers. A discourager holds others back. Discouragers can work with others to keep you from reaching your dreams. They may try to derail or sabotage your dreams. Discouragers have no dreams of their own, and have given up on ever pursuing any dream. Sadly, their life in Christ has no vision, and it's perishing. They're held at bay by false pride, and the fear of failure. That they'll make a mistake, and not be approved by others. When, in fact, our mistakes and setbacks, (failures), are the very stepping stones upon which our dreams are built.
On the other hand, God is an Encourager. Stay close to Him. He leads, guides, and directs us to persevere and be tenacious - to never give up on our Christ centered dreams. He leads us to join with others on the same page who encourage us, keep us moving forward, and on the path to achievement and reaching our dreams.
As we encourage and lead each other to reach our dreams for the kingdom of God may we be ever mindful of this. The depth and quality of leadership is not so much found in how well we lead others to reach their goals and dreams in life, as much as it is about leading them to never give up in their pursuit of them.
You Gotta Dream -- You Gotta Protect It!
No Such Thing As A Broken Dream
Is there such a thing as a broken dream? Not in the child of God. What we think of as a broken dream is what's received when we don't get what we want at the time we want it. Instead, we receive a...broken heart.
A broken heart leads down one of two paths. We choose the path. A path to disillusionment and self pity, or a path to the bosom of our Father in heaven. If we choose our Father's bosom over self pity and disillusionment, we find the dream God has for us. That is, to be forever found at the center of His will.
And, although a broken heart can lead to the center of God's will - His will never leads us to a broken Christ centered dream. For Christ centered visions and dreams are never ending, eternal journeys. Broken hearts, although painful, are stops along life's road that refine our dreams, and prepare us for the steps ahead. These are the steps that lead us onward and upward to the ultimate dream. The dream that Christ will abundantly live in, through, and out of our lives. It's an eternal dream. It lives forever. It's a dream we can all share, and a dream that breaks only if we let it.
God is the primary giver of visions and dreams. Dreams are born from the passions deeply embedded in our lives. They flow from the Spirit, divinely inspire us, and add purpose to life

In the hit song, "Anyway", Martina McBride sings these words, "You can chase a dream that seems so out of reach, and you know may never come your way...Dream It Anyway!" At Y NOT?, we agree. Here, we join together to nourish each other's dreams in the hope we'll see them achieved.
To help you along we provide a structure to assist you in building your dreams. We encourage you to seek, explore, develop, build, and chase your dreams for the Glory of God. Build to whatever heights your faith, desires, talents, and abilities will take you. The sky is truly your only limit.
Finally, remember this. Regardless of how small or large you think your dreams maybe there is no such thing as a dream too small or too large in the eyes of God. And, whether or not you think your dreams will ever come true - Dream them Anyway!
